Eligibility for membership in AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary is available to Mothers, Wives, Daughters and Sisters of Regular Members of AMVETS and deceased veterans who were AMVETS, or would have been eligible for membership in AMVETS and at least eighteen years old.
Auxiliaries are organized with the approval and cooperation of individual Posts.
Auxiliaries assist in Post programs and initiate serve and welfare programs of their own.
The Auxiliary is organized with a State Department and National structure like that of AMVETS itself.
